700 privates poisoned with food

The soldiers were taken to a number of hospitals and reported to be in good condition

Some 700 private soldiers were poisoned after eating a dinner at the 6th Gendarmerie Training Regimental Command in Kirkagac district of Manisa province in western Turkey on Saturday evening. The poisened soldiers were taken to hospitals in Kirkagac, Soma, and Akhisar districts for treatment.

The soldiers, some of whom were visited by their relatives from nearby areas, were reported not to be in life threatening condition
